What is the best way to prepare my maryland crab cakes?
It's
really simple. Maryland Crab Cakes are made with a minimum amount
of filler and handling to keep the lumps intact. Keep in mind that
the crab meat is cooked before the meat is picked out from the shell.
Contents: Cooked Jumbo Lump Crabmeat, Mayonnaise, Pasteurized Egg,
Sucrose, Spices. Must be refrigerated.
Cooking Instructions: Bake at 450F 20-25 Min. until browned. Or pan saute on
medium heat browning both sides (approx. 3-4 min. each side). Crabcakes are
fragile-handle with care.
What is the difference between fresh and pasteurized crab meat?
Fresh crab meat is picked fresh daily and used to prepare our maryland crab cakes. Fresh crabmeat usually has a shelf life of about 4-5 days. Pasteurized crabmeat is put in sealed cans and
can be kept up to a month. There is very little taste difference
between the two. Will my order arrive fresh?
